5 Reasons to Move to Boise, Idaho

I’m currently Airbnb-hopping throughout America and spent the last 5 weeks in Boise, Idaho. Here’s a short list of the key ingredients that will make it your next destination.

  1. Nature AF. Boise boasts a massive collection of giant green grassy parks and wide rivers. All of them are dog friendly as well which made it even more fun. Most of them are on-leash but no one really enforces the leash law. Boise has a really long network of rivers has parks lining the whole way so you can pretty much drive aimlessly and end up at a new nature spot every day.
  2. Supersized stores. All of the chain stores are giant versions of the ones I know, as if Costco had a love child with every departments store. It was pretty cool having such an enormous selection of items in all the stores, in addition to having all the stores ever created. The best part is that despite having all the chains, Boise also has a great collection of smaller local stores in the downtown area as well. Something for everyone.
  3. Slow speed limits. Driving, walking, and biking feels extra safe in Boise The speed limits are really slow throughout the entire city and the drivers are pretty laid back. It’s really nice to feel safe as a pedestrian and to not feel rushed while driving.
